Stray Kitty.

Trish picked up a stray kitty downtown.  She was terribly thin and inhaled any food we gave her.  She was very sweet and friendly though.  We took her to the adoption center (we already have two adopted kitties) so if you're looking for a nice pet, go down to the Lied Animal Shelter at the corner of Mojave and Bonanza in Downtown Vegas.

Passed my mission check today and graduated from the course.  I'm now ready to start flying combat missions.  Next week I'll be transferring to the 15th Recon. Squadron and begin flying missions via satellite from the operations center at Nellis.  Hurray for me.

Trish attended the Kerry rally downtown.  By the looks of the turnout, Kerry will do well in November.

Trish's cousin Andrea and her husband Roger came in for the weekend.  We lived it up in the casinos.

The Palms feature a fine Mexican brunch complete with mariachi band.

We also took in some Hold 'em at The Orleans, our favorite place for 2-4 Hold 'em.

Note:  Trish and I have been playing a fair amount of poker since we moved here.  We think you should come on out and take our poker tour with us.  You might just walk away a winner.
